ARCHITECTS TEST THE LIMITS OVER THE CLIFF

Casa Brutale is the name of this astonishing house, which will be embedded within the earth's surface, is without question, testing the limits of architectural designers around the globe. The brain's behind this operation? Laertis Antonios Ando Vassiliou, of OPA, headquartered in Rhodes, Greece. 

The plan of is to have the house built in a cliff in Beirut, Lebanon, at 1600m altitude. This design consists of many great features, such as the thermal insulation which is created from the earth around it as well as the overhead pool, which brings in natural light and casts undulate shadows.
